The exhibition features 66 mixed-media miniatures by artist Adriaan Landman. This is Landman's first exhibition in 13 years. The miniatures explore many of the themes from Landman's previous body of work. The current exhibition consists mainly of landscapes, with a focus on Namakwaland, as well as portraits, figure studies, and still-life paintings. MEET DANI Born and raised in Italy, Dani found himself moving to South Africa in 2011 to begin a new chapter. He had become disillusioned with the fast-paced European lifestyle and business world and was ready for change. After much searching in the Western Cape, he settled in the small village of McGregor. This provided the perfect setting for his photography to naturally evolve into something deeper and long-lasting. Previously photography had always been just a pastime and when Dani photographed the local Poetry Festival, he realised it was an incredible opportunity to express his creativity. His passion for capturing images that portray the essence and the experience was truly ignited. Since then he has continued to photograph McGregor and its beautiful surroundings as well as local events, further honing his skills and techniques. Known as a Perspex print, this process results in a beautiful glass-like finish. The acrylic print is supplied with a concealed mounting system. The acrylic print is numbered, signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Canvas print - Ash frame With this option, the image is printed in high resolution on a beautiful ColourPro artist’s canvas with a black edge and hand-stretched over a 44mm Superwood frame, with a 3mm backing board for extra strength and dimensional stability.
